To use a line from Kung Fu Panda: "There is no charge for awesomeness. Or attractiveness." (The guy that does the game commentary likes to play this line during games - too funny!) So!~ Congrats to our boys who are now conference champions!!!
They all played well and sent the other team home! I can't even remember the score for sure - maybe 48 to 20?? Something like that. Anyway, we honored our Senior boys, and as I stood there out on the field with Addison, I was remembering when he was a Freshman, and those Seniors were being honored, that I had 3 more years before I had to worry about that. You see, the parents go out on the field with their boy, and present them with a gift, and the team gives them each a signed football, etc. Anyway, there I am. Standing by this big tall man-child in his big tuff-guy uniform and all I could think was "I can't believe this is US! Already!!" and also, "Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry!"
Congrats again boys, you are both AWESOME AND ATTRACTIVE!!!
