This was "our" moon over this sleepy little town tonight. I loved it so much that I had to try to take some kind of picture of it - no matter how poorly it turned out. It was just hugely & orangely hanging there in the low sky.

I love the moon. It gives me peace just looking at it.
Some incredible and deliberate creation of our Heavenly Father's that is where it needs to be at all times and affects so many things on our Earthly home that we literally could not do without it.
It is steady.
You can plan calendars by it ~ and we do!
Forget about wishing on stars.
I make mine on the moon.

I love this post!!!! I love the moon too....very peaceful. Unfortunately I think a lot of people take it for granted. As Emma used to say..."Look Mommy! It's my friend, the moon!"
